DocuSign is one of the most respected form engine and eSignature platform on the market. DocuSign has full workflow, business rules and eSignature compliance functionality for Health Plans and Insurance Exchanges. However “out of the box”, DocuSign lacks automated submission functionality so companies are left to either create a custom software integration or manually transmit completed electronic enrollments to Health Plans manually via fax or email. The DocuSign HIX Connector is the only online solution that eliminates this manual process.
Once your enrollments are signed and completed in DocuSign, the DocuSign HIX Connector retrieves your enrollments electronically and submits them to the respective carrier automatically. All of this occurs seamlessley and electronically so there is no need to manual intervention on your behalf. Once the process is complete, our systems provide you with a status report confirming Health Plan receipt of your enrollments. This process occurs daily to ensure that your enrollments are submitted to their respective Health Plan on a frequent basis.
The DocuSign HIX Connector is available to clients with a DocuSign Enterprise Account. We recommend that you create a new user ID dedicated to the DocuSign HIX Connector. Once you create the User you can start using the DocuSign HIX Connector on the same day.
